How can we best learn from our mistakes?

Answer:

To best learn from our mistakes, the first step is to own up to making them.

We can’t learn from mistakes that we have swept under the carpet or that we never recognised existed in the first place.

It takes courage and insight to recognise our mistakes and to admit them to ourselves.

So who are you?

Someone who can admit to your mistakes, to your contribution to a relationship ro porject failing, to your errors of judgment, etc

Or are you someone more like George W. Bush?

“During an April 13, 2004, press conference, President George W. Bush was asked to name the biggest mistake he had made since September 11th, 2001. Bush was, famously, flummoxed, finally admitting that although he was sure he had made a mistake, he could not think of a single one.”
